Shawna Erickson is the artist and silversmith behind Sweet Iron Silver. Working from her Alberta studio, she creates hand-engraved sterling silver buckles, jewelry, and heirloom-quality pieces rooted in the traditions of western silversmithing.

Mentored by Master Silversmith Mark Drain, Shawna has spent more than two decades refining her craft. Her work has been commissioned by private collectors and institutions including the University of Calgary, Calgary Stampede, and STARS. Most recently, she was selected to create accreditation pins for the 2025 G7 Nations Summit held in Kananaskis Alberta.

Shawna has been juried into various art exhibitions such as the Calgary Stampede Western Art show and the Charlie Russell Museum Small Works Exhibition.
